Dream takes place in Russia, I keep hearing Kosovo, but I don’t think that’s right. There are old friends and coworkers from the past. I mean really far back like 20 years ago, Heidel, Rob from fucking Lonestar? those are the two that stand out the most. so I’m not sure if I got kidnapped, I think I did, but I wake up in Russia, I’m having trouble determining what time it is and what day it is, clocks and times that I’m seeing don’t match each other. It’s on this dream. I am some sort of spy, a restaurant that might be in the hotel? Or wherever I am staying. Or maybe I wake up in the restaurant. I am nervous and skeptical of what is happening around me, I know that we are, potentially being chased but not actively chased. Someone is out to get us. I go to use the bathroom and I follow a guy in that I think might be a spy or some sort of secret agent meaning to cause me harm so I’m very aware of what he’s doing in the bathroom and on the defense, I guess she could say. fat white guy. He leaves and nothing happens. I’m peeing for a second time another man walks in, Asian guy. I hear him start mumbling and he says something about kicking my ass and I turn and ask if he is talking to me. He says yes he is talking to me that I am a communist and he is the true freedom or something like that, and then blows out a candle next to the sink and says something like fuck your cousin! May he die or suffer. Then he walks out of the bathroom and I wake up because I have to pee. Stream feels very familiar maybe not so much the events but the location does. I’ve either had a similar dream before in the same location or I was experiencing déjà vu in the dream. I’m not sure which. Oh! I remember thinking that I needed to call Alexis and tell her that “you won’t believe this, but I have a favorite restaurant in Moscow“ because something on the menu was something I had ordered before at that restaurant, multiple times. Also I wanted to apologize for being gone for an undetermined about of time because I had been drugged or knocked out in order to get where I was (Moscow maybe?)and didn’t know how long it had been since I talked to her last.
Dreams often serve as a reflection of our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The dream you've described is rich in imagery and elements that may symbolize various aspects of your waking life. Here’s a breakdown of some potential interpretations: 1. **Setting: Russia** - The location in Russia might symbolize the unknown or a feeling of being out of your comfort zone. Russia could represent something foreign to you, whether that’s people, ideas, or situations in your life that you find overwhelming. 2. **Old Friends and Coworkers** - The appearance of old friends and coworkers, particularly those from 20 years ago, may indicate a longing for the past or unresolved feelings connected to those relationships or experiences. It's possible that you're processing nostalgia or reflecting on how you've changed since then. 3. **Kidnapping and Being a Spy** - The sense of potential danger and being a spy might hint at feelings of vulnerability or secrecy in your waking life. This could point to concerns about trust or betrayal in relationships or a heightened sense of awareness about how you are perceived by others. You may feel you need to be on guard or protective of yourself. 4. **Time and Confusion** - The clocks showing different times could symbolize a disconnect in your life—perhaps you feel out of sync with your own goals or relationships. It may also reflect anxieties about time passing too quickly or not knowing where you stand in life. 5. **Bathroom Scene** - The bathroom often represents a space for privacy and vulnerability. Following someone in might suggest feelings of being pursued or pressured by outside influences—perhaps you fear someone has ulterior motives. The interaction with the men in the bathroom could symbolize conflict or confrontation with your beliefs or aspects of yourself that you are struggling with. 6. **The Conflict with the Asian Man** - His remarks about being a communist and the violent imagery may reflect internal conflicts regarding your identity, values, or political beliefs. The remark about your cousin could suggest unresolved family issues or a shadowing effect of past grievances. 7. **Calling Alexis** - The intention to reach out to someone close to you indicates a desire for connection or reconciliation. This aligns with the earlier theme of wanting to explain your absence, suggesting a feeling of guilt or concern about losing ties with people who matter to you. 8. **Familiarity and Déjà Vu** - Experiencing familiarity in a dream can signal that you’re processing past events or feelings from your life that have resurfaced. It’s a reminder that these experiences still resonate with you, and they may be significant in shaping who you are today. In summary, your dream seems to weave a narrative about navigating relationships, confronting past experiences, and expressing a sense of uncertainty. It may encourage you to reflect on these aspects of your life, how they influence your current situation, and consider any necessary changes or reconciliations.
